I entered in a troubled place and left with tools, confidence, and hope for a future I didn’t think was possible!
Choosing BlueCrest for your outpatient rehab in NJ means choosing quality care, personalized treatment plans, and ongoing support on your path to recovery. A healthy life free from addiction is possible, and we are here to help you achieve it.
Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) offers you the opportunity to discover true hope and build a strong foundation for your recovery.
At BlueCrest Counseling Center, we deliver a highly involved and stable level of care by pairing clinical treatment with structured support. Our program connects you with expert medical and mental health professionals who will help you address the root causes of your struggles.
You will engage in personalized individual, group, and family therapy to transform your life and build a resilient support system for the road ahead.
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a type of addiction treatment program that provides a highly structured level of care specifically designed to help you navigate substance use challenges.
Throughout your time with us, your customized treatment plan will incorporate group therapy sessions, personalized individual counseling, and family therapy. We also integrate essential services like medication management and relapse prevention alongside holistic practices such as yoga and meditation.
Our ultimate goal is to equip you with the practical tools and robust support system necessary to overcome these struggles and maintain lasting wellness.
This combination provides consistency throughout the week and may be a good fit for people who:
Continue your recovery journey with a structured level of care.
Receive more support than traditional outpatient treatment can provide.
Maintain your daytime responsibilities while participating in treatment.
A stable environment can provide important support throughout recovery.
Our intensive outpatient program offers numerous benefits tailored to meet the needs of our clients.
At BlueCrest, we understand that each person’s journey through addiction is unique. That’s why we customize therapy plans to address the root causes of addictive behaviors while building strong coping skills for life in recovery.
Group therapy is a key component of our IOP, providing a strong support system and a sense of perspective for individuals in recovery.
Family therapy sessions help develop improved communication and trust among family members, rebuilding relationships affected by addiction.
You will follow a personalized therapy plan based on your history, challenges, and recovery goals.
CBT allows clients to recognize their negative addictive behaviors and develop healthy coping skills rather than giving in to cravings.
DBT is a variation of CBT that promotes the processing of intense emotions and managing interpersonal relationships.
Group therapy facilitates a strong support system and a sense of perspective for individuals in recovery.
Individuals in meditative practices like yoga and mindfulness can find emotional and physical balance.
MAT, when needed, can reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms.
REBT helps clients identify and change irrational thought patterns that can lead to addiction.
Each client will receive a personalized treatment plan, including a mix of therapies our experts identify as promising for recovery. This plan is developed during an initial interview, during which individuals discuss their personal, medical, substance use, and family histories with treatment professionals.
Our IOP is a flexible program designed to accommodate clients from all walks of life.
While the duration of the program varies based on individual needs, clients typically engage in treatment for several hours most days during the week.
Your Evening IOP experience pairs daily clinical treatment with structured supportive housing, creating a fully immersive environment where you can step away from outside distractions. Living in a substance-free residence gives you consistency throughout the week and daily opportunities to practice the skills you build in session. Residents also have access to resources for employment, education, and the other practical parts of life in recovery.
Recovery does not end on your last day in the program. After completing the Evening IOP, clients continue to receive support through follow-up sessions and access to resources that help strengthen newly acquired coping skills. Our team stays connected with you as you transition back into daily responsibilities, offering guidance on employment, education, and the other practical pieces of life in recovery. This ongoing support is designed to help you maintain sobriety and hold onto the hope you built during treatment.
Substance use rarely happens on its own. We provide specialized care for individuals living with co-occurring mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, or unresolved trauma, that may be contributing to addiction. Your personalized treatment plan can include evidence-based therapies like CBT, DBT, and trauma-focused therapy, along with medication management when it is needed. By treating both conditions together, our team helps you address the root causes of your struggles and build a foundation for lasting wellness.
In addition to our intensive outpatient program, BlueCrest Counseling Center offers access to sober living accommodations for clients who may need a supportive and structured living environment during their recovery journey.
The sober living campuses provide a safe, alcohol and drug-free community where residents can continue to focus on their sobriety while transitioning back into daily life.
Residents have access to support from peers and staff members, as well as resources for employment, education, and other important aspects of life in recovery.
The goal of any addiction treatment program is to promote lasting recovery through emotional, psychological, and physical healing. At BlueCrest Counseling Center, we specifically want to help our clients in three ways.
Not everyone has the time or resources to attend residential addiction treatment. We want to provide a flexible level of care that allows people from all walks of life the opportunity to take part in their recovery process.
By helping clients and their families learn about the causes of addiction, they can work together to break the cycle and move towards a healthier future.
We provide a safe space where individuals can explore the feelings they need to heal and develop the skills needed for a successful life in recovery.
At BlueCrest, we understand that addiction is a complex and personal issue. That’s why we offer personalized treatment plans, experienced professionals, and a variety of therapies to address the unique needs of each individual. Our goal is to provide hope for those struggling with addiction and support them in their journey toward lasting recovery.

BlueCrest Counseling Center saved my life from day one at BlueCrest Detox through the Recovery Center and now the Counseling Center. I have been treated like family… so much patience, support, and love. I came here with only the clothes on my back and they also got me everything I needed clothing wise.

I’ve been to 3 other rehabs and relapsed after a week each time. I felt hopeless and didn’t feel that I would ever get clean- it seemed impossible! BlueCrest seriously saved my life. The staff actually care and do everything in their power to make us comfortable and safe.

Our program specifically for men creates a safe space to address addiction and mental health issues unique to them.
In this program, women can focus on their recovery journey while addressing specific challenges they may face.
Clients with co-occurring conditions, like depression or anxiety, can receive specialized care at BlueCrest to improve their mental health and overcome addiction.
Our Evening Intensive Outpatient Program is a structured level of addiction treatment built for adults who need real clinical support without stepping away from their lives. Sessions meet in the evenings, so you can keep working, caring for your family, and holding onto your routine while you do the work of recovery.
Yes. Evening scheduling exists for exactly that reason. Your daytime hours stay yours, which means your job, classes, and family commitments remain intact throughout treatment. For many clients, this is the difference between getting help now and putting it off indefinitely.
We treat addiction to alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamine, and prescription drugs, as well as process addictions such as gambling. Every client receives an individualized plan, so care is matched both to the substance and to the underlying factors driving use.
Our licensed therapists work with evidence-based approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices. You will take part in both individual and group sessions. The goal is to address what is beneath the substance use while giving you practical coping skills you can use long after the program ends.
Yes, and we encourage it. Family therapy and educational sessions focus on communication and relapse prevention, helping rebuild trust and strengthen the people standing beside you. A strong family support network is one of the most meaningful predictors of lasting recovery.
It can be, but it does not have to be. The Evening IOP works well for clients coming from a higher level of care, and it is also an appropriate starting point for adults who have a stable home environment and do not require 24-hour supervision. BlueCrest does not provide inpatient or detox services. If medically supervised detox is needed first, our team will help connect you with the right resources.
Yes. Clients who want additional structure during recovery can access supportive housing alongside the program. It offers a safe, substance-free living environment with ongoing peer and staff support while you continue treatment and transition back into daily responsibilities.
